Hudson Pant + M6210

With the Holidays FAST approaching, I wanted to quickly share what I wear on the road. Road trips are hard with little one in tow, so I need maximum comfort when choosing my outfit.

This time around I went with another version of the Hudson Pant from True Bias, and a draped cardigan pattern from McCalls.

The cardigan pattern is very old and out-of-print. I could have used an updated version, but didn’t have time to go to the store. So naturally I made some modifications to get the look I needed. The original pattern had unfitted raglan sleeves, and I decided to make them fitted. I created a regular armhole and normal sleeve.

I’ve reviewed the Hudson pant 2 other times, but this is my favorite by far. I cut a size smaller than usual, since this fabric has a lot of stretch. Which brings me to the fabric! I got this knit from Joann around Black Friday, and I wish I would have picked up more. It’s a thick knit, almost like a wool blend, and has a chevron pattern. I knew it would work well for pants that could be dressed up or down.

Lastly, my boots! One of my brands sent these to me and I am in love. These are the Mistral by Naot. This is one of my comfort brands, but I think they are right on trend. They are made of leather and suede, and comfortable as heck! They can be found here.

Alright dolls, we are heading out for the weekend. I hope you all enjoy your holiday, and I will be back soon!

    1. Thank you Eryn! This whole outfit was taken hostage by my mom so i need to make another pair lol! The only reason I ever hesitate with Independent pattern companies is the PDF. It drives me crazy to print, tape and cut those things! But I’ve noticed it is well worth it. Christmas was great, I hope yours was as well!
